POSITION TITLE: NYC REGIONAL DIRECTOR

REPORTS TO: President & CEO

To lead the effort of Special Olympics New York (SONY) in New York City aimed at achieving significant growth and providing Special Olympics athletes an enhanced, consistent, high-quality sports training and competition program. Additionally, to change the dynamic structure of Special Olympics NYC, allowing us to reach our vision of New York City as a model program that transforms communities and changes the world through sport, and ultimately enhances the lives of people with intellectual disabilities, their families, and all the citizens of New York City . | click here for more |

POSITION TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/REGIONAL OFFICE

REPORTS TO: NYC Regional Director

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: High school or its equivalent, plus at least 2 years experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. | click here for more |


Central Region
POSITION TITLE: DIRECTOR OF PROGRAM

 JOB LOCATION: Syracuse , NY

(May require additional travel for training to Rochester and Albany , NY for the first several months)

 REPORTS TO: Regional Director

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Bachelor Degree from an accredited college/university in Physical Education, Sports Management, Recreation, Special Education, a related field or equivalent is desired. A background in leadership, supervision or management is essential. Experience working or volunteering in the field of Developmental Disabilities as a professional coach and/or Special Olympics volunteer is preferred. | click here for more |
